Sheffield City Jail

Sheffield City Jail is located at 600 N. Montgomery Ave. Sheffield, AL 35660. The jail is attached to the Police Department beneath the city Municipal Offices.

Once an inmate has been booked into the jail and provided their issued items, they will be permitted to make a phone call as soon as possible.

The inmates also have the ability to utilize the phone inside both the mens and womens population. These phones are a privilege and may be taken away, if deemed necessary. The phones are not allowed to be used on Sundays.

The privileges of the inmates at Sheffield City Jail are able to be taken away for numerous reasons, each subject to supervisor approval.
